After three months of Edmonton’s long winter nights it will be time to welcome back the light!
Join your family, friends and neighbours at the Hazeldean Community Hall to create your own lantern. The festivities will kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Hazeldean Community Hall with a build-your-own-lantern session, and hot chocolate and cider.
Once the lanterns are built, the parade will kick off! Then we’ll take our creations and wander down the greenway to Mill Creek Ravine to show them off!
When? Saturday, January 14, 2016 between 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Join us at the Hall to build your own lantern at 3:30 p.m. with the parade to follow. Come early so you have lots of time to create your lantern masterpiece.
Where? Hazeldean Community Hall (9630 66 Ave.)
Cost? Free for all. Bring your own travel mug so that you can have some hot chocolate and cider.
