Memberships
Become a member of the Hazeldean Community! Annual memberships for Hazeldean residents is $5.00 which will entitle families (parents & children under the age of 18), single persons (aged 18 - 59), and seniors (60+) with voting privileges at Annual & General Meetings. Memberships will also provide you with many benefits! If you have any questions about memberships, please send an email to memberships@hazeldean.org or fill in our contact form.

Memberships Available for Purchase at:
- Hazeldean Drug Mart, 9611 – 66 Avenue (Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm)
- Dairy Queen (Hazeldean location ONLY), 9855 – 70 Avenue (7 days per week, 11 am to 10 pm)
- Shop Easy, 9633 - 66 Avenue (Monday to Friday from 9 am to 9 pm, Saturday 9 am to 6 pm, Sunday 11 am to 5:30 pm)
While you are there, make sure to pick up your copy of the Community News newsletter. The newsletter is published six time each year - February, April, June, August, October, and December. Stay up to date with the current events happening in Hazeldean and our surrounding communities.

Membership Benefits
Holding a Hazeldean Community Membership provides you with:
- Voting privileges at meetings. The Annual General Meeting occurs in the month of September. There are two General Meetings which occurs in January and May. Both the Annual & General Meetings commence at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month listed. In order for you to vote at these meetings, you must reside in Hazeldean with a current membership.
- Representation on Civics issues such as development permit variances, traffice issues, etc. Please be advised that the League requires residents to provide a minimum of two weeks notice regarding local permit variance requests. Please send them to us via email at info@hazeldean.org. Currently:
- The South Woods Redevelopment Committee is working on the proposed plans for the row housing between 95 - 96 Street and 66 - 68 Avenue
- The Velodrome Argyll Development Committee is working on the traffic and parking issues arising from the City project
- Free skating on Edmonton's League Outdoor rinks. The Avonmore Community League (four minutes drive away) has a new hockey rink and a large public skating rink. Please remember to bring your membership card for entry into these facilities
- Free public skating at indoor city arenas. Please check the City of Edmonton for the schedule to public skating times. The closest arena to our community is Donnan
- Free swimming during the summer months at the Mill Creek outdoor pool. The free swim time is from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, 7 days/week
- Free swimming at designated indoor pools:
- Bonnie Doon pool (Saturdays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Sundays from 4:00 - 5:30 pm). Free swim begins in October and runs to the end of June
- Hardisty pool (Sundays from 1:15 - 2:45 pm). Free swim begins in October and runs to the end of June
- Community League Membership is required to join hockey, soccer and playgroup
