Our City

For things to do in the Summer and Winter, visit the City of Edmonton website and look under the Attractions & Recreation - Parks & River Valley - Park & River Valley Activities section.  You'll find information on a variety of activities - toboganning, snowshoeing, skiing, baseball, boating, fishing - to name just a few!

The City of Edmonton website contains information about all kinds of things:

  • Information for people who have just moved here (For Residents - Resident Services & Programs - Newcomers)
  • Edmonton Transit information (Transportation)
  • Recreation Facilities (Attractions & Recreation)
  • Bylaws
  • Garbage Pickup (Residents)
  • Demographic information and maps can be found at Edmonton Maps.  Take out books, movies and more at your local library to enjoy with your family on those rainy days or sunny days in the park.  Find out more about the weather forecast to help you plan your day!

Visit "Edmonton: A City Called Home," an online exploration of local history prepared for the City's centennial in 2004.

The Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch Program's vision is "Fostering crime-free communitys in the City of Edmonton."
