Save the date for the Annual Mill Creek Clean Up on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine)! It's a great chance to meet your neighbours, get some fresh air and exercise. Gloves and bags will be provided. Watch our website for more details in April!
Think these Easter eggs are great? Want to learn how to make them? Come paint Easter eggs at Hazeldean Hall on Sunday, April 9 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. This will be an interactive afternoon, where community members show-off and share their fantastic family Easter egg skills! Brandy will help you make a traditional Ukrainian Pysanka, and Rineke will show how her grandmother painted eggs with flowers and coffee. We will also have ‘conventional’ Easter egg paint for the kids.

We DESPERATELY need two volunteers to work the late soccer registration. If you're coming to register your child that day anyway, why not get your volunteer commitment done at the same time? When/where: Ottewell Hall this Sunday, March 12 from 1 - 5 pm 2.) Hazeldean Hall SCRUB & GRUB (between noon - 3 pm) The hall has been used for a lot of fun things lately so we wanted to get a jump on spring cleaning. Come join us for some scrubbing in the corners and bring a shine to the kitchen. The pizza is on us! When/where: Hazeldean Hall this Sunday, March 12. Start cleaning at noon, pizza arrives at 3 pm. If either of these opportunities for fun strike your fancy, just pop an email to Toby-Anne at volunteers@hazeldean.org. Saturday is coming up fast! Hazeldean Community league invites you to join us at the hall for another free movie night! We will be showing Moana, the story about the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian chief, who is heading out to find the demigod Maui, and to return a mystical stone to its rightful place.
