Join us on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 for the Hazeldean annual general meeting. Free snacks and refreshments will be provided, including a wine area (members only). There will be a special presentation from City of Edmonton planners, Dan Boric and Lana Phillips with Development Services. It will also be an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas with the community league, learn what your community league has been doing for you, and meet the board.

Join us for a special presentation from City of Edmonton planners, Dan Boric and Lana Phillips with Development Services. Presenting at 7 p.m. before the meeting will be two representatives from the city doing a presentation about the city's infill strategy and how it affects Hazeldean, after which they will be taking questions. The two presenters will be:
  • Dan Boric is a Principal Planner with Development Services focused on city-initiated infill projects. Along with his teammates, Dan coordinates and supports a range active and new city-initiated infill projects and serves as a resource for infill education and outreach to the community and within the City of Edmonton administration.
  • Lana Phillips is a Senior Planner with Development Services. Lana and her team (Strategic Initatives) work to implement new processes that result from city-initiatied changes to the Zoning Bylaw and projects such as Edmonton's Infill Roadmap.

Following the presentation, we will recap what we've accomplished as a board in the past year and give you a heads up of what's still in planning. Then, as is typical at AGM's we will elect a new board. If you would like to stand for nomination for a position on the board, do not hesitate to get in touch!
