Interested in Joining the Hazeldean Community League Board?
The Hazeldean Community League is inviting residents and community members to consider getting involved with our Board of Directors as we prepare for our upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Our Board is made up of volunteers who help guide the League, organize programs and events, care for community facilities, advocate on neighbourhood issues, support recreation and membership initiatives, and help plan for Hazeldean’s future.
You do not need previous Board experience to get involved. We are looking for people with a wide range of skills, interests and perspectives who care about the community and are willing to contribute.
Board opportunities include
President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, along with Director portfolios related to athletics and recreation, social events and programming, memberships, facilities, civics and neighbourhood issues, communications and publicity, volunteer coordination, and flexible Director-at-Large or other Board-supported roles.

That’s completely fine.
We have created a short Board of Directors Interest Form for anyone who would like to:
explore which Board positions might be a good fit;
let us know they are considering seeking nomination;
learn more about what Board service involves;
discuss how their skills or interests could contribute; or
indicate an interest in volunteering or committee work.
Completing the form does not constitute a formal nomination and does not obligate you to run for a Board position. It simply gives the current Board an opportunity to connect with interested community members before the AGM.
